A one-thumb game of light
Keep the Heart‑Tree alive until dawn.
The gloom creeps in from the edge of the night. Flick lights into orbit, merge twins into brighter lights, and feed the gold ones to the heart. Every dawn sends its light into the forest, which heals a little more night after night and gives you a new power.
Free to download, for iPhone and Android, in English and French.
Pick up and play
A few minutes, one night.
Dawnkeeper fits into any spare moment: short nights, one thumb, no network and no sound needed.
Nights of one to three minutes
The first night lasts a minute. Nights grow as you learn, up to three minutes.
One thumb, upright
Touch, aim, flick. One hand is all it takes.
Offline, and fine on mute
No network, ever. With the sound on, it plays along with your podcast instead of cutting it off.
Stop whenever you like
Leave the app at any moment: the night pauses and picks up exactly where you left it.

How a night goes
Flick, merge, keep or feed.
Flick lights into orbit
Touch anywhere and flick: a light appears under your finger. Sent along the orbit, it circles the heart and holds the gloom back. Flicked hard, it becomes a lance that cuts through the gloom.
Merge twins
Two identical lights merge into the next one. Fly a light into its twin from afar and the merge skips a step.
Keep or feed
Big lights hold the gloom far away. Gold ones can be tapped to feed the heart: it heals, and the gloom is pushed back. Keep them, or spend them: every gold light is a choice.
- Spark
- Glimmer
- Wisp
- Lumen
- Bloom
- Radiance
- Great Light
The young lights are cool. From the Lumen on, they turn gold and can feed the heart.

Night after night
The forest heals, one dawn at a time.
At the end of each night, the light you kept flows down into the forest and lights it leaf by leaf. A lost night still gives half its light: the forest never stops growing.
Every 10% of the forest brings back a line of its story, and a new power. You start with a single gesture; by the end you pulse, lance, swap, catch shooting stars and plant seeds of dawn.

Every night is different
A sky, a wish, three stars.
- Tonight’s sky. Windy, Firefly, New moon, Twin night, Heavy heart: each sky changes how the night plays.
- Tonight’s wish. Grow a Bloom, greet the dawn with a Lumen in orbit, break a tide with a lance… Grant it for extra light.
- Three stars a night: reach dawn, grant the wish, and keep the gloom from ever touching the tree.
- Dawns in a row, your best night under each sky and, once the forest is whole, deep nights that grow darker with every dawn.
- The same night for everyone. No hidden help, no difficulty that bends to your results: a night plays the same for every keeper.
Music that fits your moves
Every note is synthesized for the game, in D major pentatonic: your merges ring bells that always fit the music. Best with headphones.
English and French
The game follows your phone’s language and switches in one tap from the title screen.
No account
Your forest stays on your phone. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to remember.
Fair to play
No energy, no lives. Ads only between nights, never during one, and one purchase removes them. Nothing to buy makes you stronger.
